EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) foam is a fairly recent innovation. It looks like a harder version of styrofoam. These hard rollers are made of heat-moulded foam beads and are one of our "firmest" rollers. These are particularly good for working fascial tightness in the legs and gluteals. Recommended for experienced roller users.
EPP, due to the nature of the welded foam beads, tend to be brittle if rolled against hard edges of fixture or furnishings.
NOTE: In general the firmer the roller the more pressure you can apply to your soft tissue leading to greater initial discomfort.
